“We’re told greatness takes time — that masterpieces are built in sweat and silence.
Maybe.
But sometimes, greatness shows up in a burst of chaos, a flash of instinct, a beautiful mess of (Just GO!)
Because not everything great takes time — sometimes it just takes you.
Creativity doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. It crashes in when you least expect it. So when it hits, move.
Create. Play. Do.
Your best work often comes from instinct — not endless tweaking. To me, artwork is never finished, never perfect. And honestly, it shouldn’t be. Give me ‘perfectly imperfect’ any day.
Perfection is boring. The good stuff? It’s more raw. More human. There is more life to it. Whether it took 87 hours or 8 minutes and 7 seconds, the power is in the impact.
Mastery grows with time, sure. But greatness? That shows up the second you stop overthinking and get out of your own way.
That’s why I love jazz — no filter, just flow. You can see it, feel it, hear it. Musicians throwing themselves into the moment.
So trust yourself. Do the thing. Let go.
Stop timing your brilliance. Just show up, make a mess, and let the art breathe.
Stay Safe and Play Nice,
